New Construction

New homes built from the ground up, with the same care on the framing and the finish that goes into every Baldo project.

Building new means every decision is yours, and every decision has to be made. We keep the process organized: a clear scope, a realistic schedule, and regular updates from site work to final walkthrough.

We handle new construction from foundation through framing, exterior and interior finishes, coordinating licensed trades and inspections along the way.

A good fit if you’re…

  • You own a lot and are ready to build
  • Tearing down an older house to build new on the same lot
  • You have plans in hand and want a builder who communicates

Typical projects

  • Single-family homes
  • Tear-down and rebuild projects
  • Garages and detached structures
  • Framing and shell packages

Decisions worth making early.

Plans first
A new home starts with complete, permit-ready plans. If you are still working with a designer, it helps to bring us in early so the plans are priced and built the way they are drawn.
Site and foundation
Soil, slope, ledge, drainage and utility connections can change a budget more than anything above ground. We look at the site before giving you numbers.
Selections and allowances
Windows, siding, flooring, cabinets and fixtures are where budgets move. Settling selections early keeps the schedule and the price steady.
Permits and inspections
New homes go through building, electrical, plumbing and energy inspections at set stages. We schedule the work around them.

What shapes the price.

Every home is different, so we price from a site visit rather than a list. These are the things that move the number most.

  • Home size, layout and number of stories
  • Site conditions, excavation and foundation
  • Utility connections: town water and sewer, or well and septic
  • Exterior materials: siding, roofing and windows
  • Interior finish level and selections
  • Mechanical, electrical and plumbing scope (licensed trades)
